Yep. There is one closer but their selection is horrible. I was there one time and ask about a brand. The saleslady? Insisted I didn't want that kind. :hair:

Ha! That's a Normal October/November day around here! :whistle: Thats how we get most of our Silver Maple blow downs! It blows 30 MPH here all winter, "Blow, what Blow"? Welcome to South Jersey that sticks out in the middle of the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic ocean! We get Nor-easters that clock in at 80mph plus!

And here in Maine, the wind she blows and blows. Not so bad now but still bone chilling. Here is a tower that bent over from high winds. It is located at Sugarloaf, one our ski resorts.

there were winds recorded at 176mph at the summit of Mt. washington. I don't know what they were at Sugarloaf, but I do know that the winds were terrible about everywhere. I don't know how they could build a tower to withstand those extremely high sustained and gusts of wind. Just going to Lewiston this morning required both hands on the steering wheel. I had held my breath every time a semi passed us. Good thing was no ice on the interstate. Felt sorry for the guys working on bridge reconstruction. Had to be hell on them out in the open over that river.
