There was a lineman crew staying in Conneaut, OH (I-90 & St Rt 7) last night. They were heading your way this morning. Hopefully, if you loose power it will be for a short time.

Before we bought our home....my last landlord was a head lineman for our electric comp. He said wind gust have to drop below 40 mph before any attempt will be made to repair lines.....this is prety much nation wide....

Been howling all day. Really started to pick up around 6pm. Not sure what peak gusts have been in my area, I’d guess high 60’s. Haven’t lost power yet, hopefully we don’t. Big oak down around the corner from me. I’m sure there’s a ton more trees down in the area this is just one my buddy sent me. Pretty sure I’ll be able to stock up over the next week!
    Stay safe inside everyone.

So far it has been windy for me. The pile that has rubber roofing on it to the ground got blown off and another pile a small section at the top has taken a dive to the ground.

Power has been out here at the hacienda since about 2:30. We were gone till 5 and came home to no power. Got the genny cranking, cannot run the whole house at one time but easily keep the fridges and freezer, boiler pump and woodstove blower going along with a few lights and can kick the water well pump on as needed. Winds are brutal, constant 35 right now with 55 gusts. Earlier was 65.

First Energy is getting clobbered today. Still, we haven't had so much as a flicker.

BeechNut I hope you aren't without main power for a long time either.
    :)

Gas may be "cheaper" these days, but still not "cheap"

Not a superstitious person by nature, but I'd knock on the next chunk of wood before putting it in the stove.
