Story was it was a retired older gentleman that planned to travel with the grandkids or something and pull a camper and something happened. It has the PowerStroke 6.7 Turbo Diesel. He contacted the dealer and just sold it back to them saying he was just storing it indoors. Never saw salt before I got it, out of VA. I’m getting ready to park it for awhile too with having just paid $4.97 a gallon today I’ve put 3K on it since December.
Ashwatcher, I’ve often scoffed about you laying a tarp down when splitting, but I do get it. So now, really- is the bank behind the shed not subject to the same attention to clean grass detail?
Aww, my ever observant friend EVW, that was one of two trees the power company dropped, not sycamore but some other water based softwood that was rather large, they hooked it on the stump and its just now rotted enough to get out and dispose of. Better than falling on the shed. And “clean grass”, I’m already stressing about the acidity of cutting up all in these pics…the sawdust will choke it out-I’ll have to noodle some of the ash crotches…Think I’ll Shop Vac it?
I bought a 2015 F250 last June with 32,000 miles, but I've got the 6.2 gas. I've got a friend with the 6.7 and he loves it, I'm sure you will too. That's a great looking truck.
I've been known to shop vac hickory nuts in the back yard. I love my hickory trees, but those nuts are a dif story.. If there's a desire, I'm sure it will happen!
We hired an insulation company a few years back and after blowing cellulose insulation into the stud cavities from the outside of the house, they actually used a shop vac to clean up after themselves! A bit unusual to watch that guy with the vacuum going across the lawn and flower garden. Must've been a real treat for that guy!
