Me too!! I would have to go rent/borrow/buy a new splitter.. old splitter is horizontal only!! Not to worry I got plenty of milk crates.

I had never processed this much yellow birch. Very stringy kind of glad I got a push plate splitter just load another round to get it to finish the split.

 

Push through splitters are the best for any kind of stringy wood. I've only seen push though on horizontal splitters.

 

That Yellow Birch will be great firewood!

 

Just wondering. Do you have to watch your bp? If you need to and don't have a bp machine, check with your VA doc. He can get you one for free..

 

I take naproxen about once or twice a month for my back. Those are the days when advil doesn't work.

 

Split another 2 hours a day last couple days. Post more pics after tomorrow.

Called these rounds of yellow birch an intelligence test.. they failed..

I rolled them up oil ramp onto splitter..

mmmm. I forgot Lady was helping

 

Think I may need to buy a saw soon!!
