I sent him the exact times. He can post them if he wants. But I didn't want to throw anyone's times out there.

But his chain was several seconds faster than stock RSL.

My Father told me I should have put a for sale sign on it. He wants one a little bigger.

Dex go ahead and post the times if you want. That chain was nothing special.

You should make him an offer. It's just about the right size for you. Was a nice little trailer too.

All the hand filed square were faster and a lot smoother than RSL

On the strongest 50cc 3/8" was faster than LP

Two different 50cc of same model, 3/8" was faster than .325 but not near as smooth

Fastest cant cutting or bucking cuts 3/8.
Limbing .325. Even on stock 50cc 346 IMO.

    Here's what Dex sent me

To give you an idea on speed. Stock RSL went 15.22. That was a fresh loop that I got out of the box yesterday.

Cleaning the gullet up on the same chain went 13.40.

The full skip (looked extreme) went 12.9 and I had to "push" on it.

Your full chisel chain went 11.31. That one ran good, and felt good.

On the 11.3 run you didn't even need a stop watch to know it was fast

I didn't even run that chain after I filed it. I just hung it up on the nail and then sent it up there. I hope to get a better one done this week if time permits. I got twin smurfs to get out of here if possible. I know Jchin would like to have his saw before xmas.

I never cut in a cant before or never timed a cut. Here is something I learned on my ported 064.

These are rounded off numbers by memory

In the 20x20 cant with 25" bar 7 pin was 1.5 seconds faster than 8 pin

In the 10x10 cant with 20" bar 8 pin was .5 seconds faster than 7 pin

Yep. Those times are correct Mike. I just wasn't gonna put everyone else on blast. It was meant to be a good a time. I knew you didn't care of people seen your chain, or knee it's time. But I wanted to respect others wishes.

Also.... For those that don't know.... That Solo is a Mean saw!! It was running low 17's and high 18's in the 20" x 20" with off the loop RS (yep. Not even square).

    And for the record.....

In the 10" Cant, the 362 spanked the Solo.

My previous testing was as accurate as I could get and the Solo beat it twice. But yesterday, the 362 whooped its azz!

I wasn't gonna run the 362, but Ted asked me, and I wasn't gonna say no. I was a little afraid that I would get beat up over it again. His 562xp is still faster, but I am happy with the times. It wasn't no slouch

In big wood though, that 665 is a beast. It honestly is my favorite saw.. Right next to my 460 ;)

And thank you again.. Everyone who came out. It was a cold and miserable day yesterday (it's cold and miserable now..) I had a great time and loved seeing new faces.

BrianK and Super3 were some new ones that didn't make it to the last GTG.

And thank you Swags and HittinSteel for bringing your kids. My daughter had a blast. The little ones were playing with my daughter's toy chainsaws inside the house  Gotta get them started at a young age :)

Thanks again! I really appreciate everyone's effort in helping. SquareFile helped me for almost 16 hours total over the last 2 weeks! I owe you one buddy!

I almost have it all cleaned up now.. Bringing all my saws and equipment back up now. All the cookies are stacked (we probably burned over hundred yesterday and I have been burning them today).

A few pics from earlier. :D

Still moving chairs and tables. Gonna try and move a load of wood or two while the trailer is hooked up.
