Has anyone heard from bogydave or Rope lately?
Somebody PLEASE do this to that guy! Cant "like" this...sorry Woodwhore . Its misinforming videos like this that spread like wild fire. Sorry for the bad pun, but its true. Someone will watch it and start telling everyone they know about it, where as if it was about burning dry well seasoned wood more than likely they wouldnt tell a soul. Reminds me of the news only he didnt use drama!
I only watched a couple minutes and got POed at the guy. Noticed the wood looked wet. One round had mold on the end.
Ill tell Ctwoodtick , he loves birch!
Sorry you feel that way i dont post for likes, so thats ok. I watched it for a minute and it was so rediculous i wanted to share it. I doubt anyone here will toss all there birch in a campfire now.
Now there's some underlying support for a wall on our northern border.
thank god i have almost no birch in my stacks. Ill sleep much better tonight!
Wait, you mean I need to get rid of the 1/4 cord of birch I just put in the bin on Friday, and that's currently keeping me warm? Sure NOW you tell me!
You did the right thing. People need to know what to do and what not to. Maybe we can get the guy who posted the video to change how he burns, that would be the best outcome.
Aaaaaaannnnndd the imbecile of decade award goes too.......
23k subscribers and he absolutely believes what he's saying. It's a crying shame stupidity isn't painful.
Yes, they've both been on lately. Rope has been enjoying his below zero weather and Dave says their rain is about to change as cold is setting in. Less than 5 hours of daylight up there now.
As for the video, the only thing good about it is it sounded like a yooper talking but in this case, he did not know what he was talking about.
The dumb is thick with this one .
I knew they're both going great. Didn't watch the video and glad I skipped it now, but amazing how little some know-it-alls really know.
Isn't that the truth!!
Like others here, I watched a minute or so and stopped it. I have been burning some paper birch and getting 6-8 hours of burn time.
We better get a go fund me started quick.
I'm glad you posted this. I'd have burned my house down otherwise.
Seriously, we need to find these idiots and educate them. I've got a feeling that this sort of guy wouldn't think that he couldn't possibly be wrong.
That must be how long it takes a house to burn down.
The train has left the station:
Made it to 6.57. I tried.
Furnace is so black from leaking smoke you can’t see it!! 18 cords a year in that? I’m surprised he’s still alive.
While we're on birch. I bucked and split some birch yesterday that had been down for a few yrs. It was still at 22-23% how much longer will it take to get below 20%?
