Out of town tree service probably came at an out of town price and clearly out of town service. Maybe tell her you can clean it up for the difference between the out of town tree service estimate and the in town tree service estimate, once you get home from your trip. Definitely wouldn’t do it for free. This is kind of what you get for paying an out of town tree service before the job is done to your satisfaction (if that’s what happened). Unless it’s someone I know, I wouldn’t have someone working at my home without me or my wife being there. Bummer of a lesson for the lady, and I do feel bad for her.
