    The one we bought from the Harbor is real quiet.

    I was surprised at how quiet it was.

    That 10k unit looks nice

    If it makes you feel better my harbor freight generator says, on the cap that it's good for up to 15% ethanol! All I run is the cheapest stuff I can find through it. Always starts at least second pull.

    They are great little toys. I use mine occasionally for small welding or running stuff like a cement mixer!
    I was looking at the dual fuel carb comversion to run it off propane for when shtf!

    I have taken to using non ethanol premium in all the small engines (Chain saw, weed whackers etc.)
    Our Smart car requires premium so I just fill the Smart and then a jug or two for the tools.

    The non ethanol stuff is far easier on the plastic parts in the fuel systems on the small tools.
