Nice looking bike! After spending 5 years on a CBR600, I really started looking at Goldwings. They're completely different bikes, but I still think it'd be a lot of fun. My buddies tell me I'm not old enough for one yet though (I'm 32).

As for cars/trucks, I've spent a lot of money over the years making slow Ford Rangers slightly faster. And I spend several grand on my 05 Frontier installing a lot of bolt-ons, and adding a pretty good sound system, just for a truck that would probably break into the 15's in the 1/4 mile. Now the Frontier plays wood hauling duty, and I picked up an 03 IS300 Sport Design with a manual transmission as my daily driver "play" car. It's the perfect base to start with to really have a fast car, as it's easy to improve the already good handling, and they make great twin turbo candidates.

But other than adding bluetooth capability to stream music, I'm leaving this car bone stock. As much fun as I've had over the years modding vehicles, I own a house now and my priorities have changed.

here's a short vid of the cobra screaming. That whine you hear is the eaton blower screaming.

Just a short video of the cobra. 2nd gear roll at 40ish mph, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. What are 5th and 6th for? its been to 172 mph on GPS on a closed coarse and I ran out of track. I think it has 176-180mph in it. This was when it made 450rwhp/480rwhp.

Blow baby blow. One of my buddies has a terminator. Another has a pretty fast fox body...

On my list of things I want....but likely will never have.

Yeah she scoots, even power to kill me, put me in jail or both. It actually seems so slow to me now after being used to it and having buddies with the same kinds of cars with huge blowers making 650-800 Rear wheel HP.
They are sweet cars. If you ever get the chance to pick one up, do it. I love my foxes as I"ve had so many of them, but this is like a refined caddy with will be worth Shelby status in 10-20 years. It should really rip and scream when I get done with the blower. Stegmier ported inlet on right, my cut and welded inlet on the left.. the way a blower works... more air in, more compressed air out. they are positive displacement blowers so they only exhale so much, but the more I can stuff into it, the more can come out. Then once that is straightened out, I might spray it with a 25-40 HP wet shot to cool the boost even more. I want a 10.99 timeselip out of a 4K lb topless girl...without putting on a $5000 kenne Bell or whipple. Its not done by any means, but if you know port work and air flow you should see which one will move more air into it...

This is my old super stock dirt track project… it's in the shop now getting rebuilt and updated with a Mopar 360 for power.

Here's my son's WISSOTA midwest modified that he will run in 2015…

Here's my $500.00 dirt street stock that I want to sell… but it seems all the cool kids want a new car for the same price!

Recently sold my blown Hemi powered '56 F100… no time to finish it.

Thanks. It's been my toy since 1996.

I never put it on a dyno but the 343
engine stock was 280 HP and 335 ft/lbs of torque. The cam is one notch up from stock, and I had it bored 30 over when I rebuilt the engine back in 1997. If I had to guess its probably in the neighborhood of 300 HP. It has a 3.54 rear end (AMC called it twin grip, AKA posi) which is a pretty good combo for acceleration and not turning crazy RPMs on the highway.

My most recent find was a Carter AFB that had the right production code for that engine. Next I need to find a rebuild kit for the original fuel pump. I still have the original pump. The car has vacuum wipers and the fuel pump has an auxiliary vacuum pump built on to it. It was leaking years ago so I put a regular pump in it. Getting stuck in the rain with vacuum wipers and no aux vacuum pump make acceleration a bit challenging. :)

It has the original Bendix four piston disc brake setup. Years ago I bought up every set of Raybestos D18 pads I could find. I have enough sets to last me until I'm gone. Most people converted the front ends to the 1970 and later setup with Kelsey Hayes brakes. The original brake systems are hard to find these days.

My 1971 Maverick Grabber....57,000 original miles, it's been repainted to factory specks with Calypso Coral, that was available in 1971 but not on the Mavericks. It's got some odd and it runs great, still wanna add my personal touches to the car (customers grille, 69 Shelby taillights with sequencer unit, lower the suspension and add front disc brakes, and also a T5 transmission).

Ugh, you guys are killing me. In 2001 I sold a straight '70 Challenger for $2000. One of my biggest regrets. Love seeing all your rides!
