Ah, for the days you handed the gas station attendant $2, he filled the tank, checked the oil, washed at least the windshield, maybe checked the tires and handed you ten cents before you drove away, wishing you a good day.

 

Yeah ....... I miss driving away in my new Model "A" as well

 

$4.80 for regular. It feels like a deal after a long stretch over $5.

 

4.24 Lebanon ore Safeway 3.99 east of that town. Unless I’m mistaken, president Trump said 5,6,7.00 a gallon if they keep it up. I believe it!

 

Our Marathon stations are $3.09, $3.04 with membership rewards. $3.06 at Murphy's.

 

Just got back from Iceland where gas and diesel were both around $9 a gallon after converting liters to gallons and to US currency. Driving the ring road was expensive!

 

3.45 is the lowest I've seen.

At the ripe old age of 17, I worked night shift (10-7) at a 24 hr gas station on friday and saturday nights. Kept me out of trouble....

But- every vehicle that came in, we fueled, washed the windshield and offered to check the oil.

24.9 a gallon. Real gas. No watered down with corn and filled with all the benefits of lead additives!

 

Heck, I've seen price increases that were twice that much!
I miss the days of $0.03-0.05 price increases...and its not been that long ago either!

 

When a buddy and I went out west the first time, we didn't even bother to budget for gasoline. Vehicle probably got around 15 mpg at best? Plymouth duster twister.

 

Can you get that job back ????

 

Looking at $2.99 E-10, $3.53 premium and $3.29 diesel.

 

Not sure if I posted this but the same gas station that was $3.459 last week is $3.629 yesterday.

 

sheetz stations near me where all 1.77 yesterday in honor of the 4th. I drove past one and as expected it was packed out to the road and from what the news stated. some stations had traffic backed onto the road.
I skipped them went to the station next door. Yes I could have saved over 40 filling my truck up but I was in and out.
I would have been stuck in sheetz probably for an hour with no ac in the truck, no thank you I paid 3.12 instead

 

I found out about that on the 10 pm news last night...the promotion ended at 6 pm though. The reporter was interviewing someone that was at the station next door and asked why they were there paying double the price...the customer basically said "ain't nobody got time for all that!"

 

I saw it on gasbuddy early in the morning but didn't really believe it. Customer was right, who has time for all that..
Last year on july 7th I paid 4.45 a gallon for 87 so 3.12 is a bit easier to swallow this summer.
