Shouldn't be long now Brandon Scott. What zone/area are you located?

Just gave mine a haircut yesterday.

    ...ya' know...sometimes stuff just happens.
This just happened to be a truck load...
as opposed to a crock of....
    the familiar brown substance.

Some dwarf shelling peas in 5 gallon buckets. The plant pot in the middle is a place holder for a tomato plant that will get popped in in 4 to 6 weeks. I won't have to dig and disturb pea plant roots to plant the tomato. Just pull the empty pot out and pop in a plant in the hole. The peas should be done by the time the tomato starts needing all the space. Was just something to do with ten old seeds found in an old packet of seeds. 8/10 sprouted and one appears to be a runt or a dwarf dwarf. ( or a height-impaired special needs pea for those such inclined).

Some peas planted indoors just to compare soil temp rate of growth with those direct seeded 18 March .
Red pots are snap peas, black pots are snow peas. The direct seeded counterparts are unsurprisingly only about an inch tall.

I haven't gone out and compared germination rates yet.

Chance of frost here until sometime after 1May depending on how much risk you want to gamble on. Nights still too cold to even think about cucumbers, but I[ve got lettuce coming along and planted radishes yesterday.

Thanks! I love everyone’s pictures here. I’ve done everything the same way for 40 years. It’s nice to get some new ideas from a different perspective. At age 49 I can see I am gonna love raised bed gardening.
