Watering twice or even three times a day depends on the size pot and the size of the plant in it. If the pot size is too small you'll be making up for it by watering much more often. Watering more often can also end up leaching out nutrients just as the plant is really starting to need them the most. Tomatoes in pots may need additional nutrients by mid-July/August just because they are heavy feeders.
There is quite a range of nutrients in different brands of fish emulsion, some are 5-1-1, some are 2-4-2. Tomatoes being heavy feeders might respond to twice a week feedings (especially in heavily/often watered pots) . I prefer Espoma Garden-tone fertilizer but don't like scratching it into the surface once plants have gotten big as it disturbs the roots and might even burn them. (2-3 weeks after transplant is usually perfect timing) What I have done in the past with tomatoes in pots, is add some to a whellbarrrow or bucket of soil and added that to the top of the pot. By the time the plant grows roots into it ( and tomatoes don't mind being buried) it should already be somewhat dissolved and the micronutrients and bacterias doing their thing.
Sometimes it seems like tomatoes are taking an eternity to start to ripen.

Got 8 more zucchini in last Saturday for a late planting of zucchini. Should have just enough time especially if I push them a little bit. The weedblock material will have either lawn clippings or leaves on it shortly to cut down on the heat. This brand was supposed to let water thru but I had puddles on it overnight.

Yes, one hole is empty. One seed was late and I don't like putting them into the ground until they have two leaves as the chipmunks eat them as sprouts. They've gotten into my little greenhouse and pigged out. Got me good this year - another reason for a somewhat late year. Little b@stards will dig holes in 4 and 6 packs yanking the plant out, spit a mouthfull of seeds in and come back and eat the sprouts from the seeds they planted. I had to stop feeding the birds because I had sunflower seeds coming up in all my pots. This year it was some kind of grass seed.

Once garlic bulbils form like those Chazsbetterhalf , the scapes/stem is getting too woody to eat, but the bulbil itself can be opened up and the content are delicious.

I have seen them before and many years ago my dad I believe gave me one to try. The one I had the other day had quite the kick.
With the old rusted out burn barrels so close would you bother to harvest them? I might did one up just to see. They have to have been there over 10 years as that is how long we have been here and it stood vacant for a year.

Red Deuce,Scarlet Red and Morning Red. Not sure which is which as we just load the planter boxes and start planting. Those are between tennis and baseball size. Had a couple get soft in this heat and go bad so I picked those a bit on the green side.

I bought a couple of Dwarf Cavendish Banana plants the other day. I've always wanted one of them, and they were on sale. supposedly they'll make nanners given a couple years. They grow to 4-6 feet. They sure look nice in containers and add moisture to the air, which will be nice in winter time

Tree service wood chips and manure/grass clippings would make that clay soil usable.

Well, considering we mow about 3-4 acres of the property, grass clippings are not a problem.

Nor are leaves in the fall.

I just have to setup a compost area and get down to business.

Did I mention that I'm a very good procrastinator?

Definitely not. I can't remember the name of the "toxin" it produces, but will kill other plants.

Although I once steeped a lot of nuts.. husk on.. in a bucket for 2 or 3 weeks to try it as a weed killer.. Nope no luck
