garden tractors

Late to the party as usual, oh well, here is mine Cub Cadet 1863.

 

Sorry it's got a "cover" on it, but this is the GT1554 from January of '08. Bought it in'07.
It's starting to give me fits lately, but I pound on it pretty good hauling firewood here and in the woods. Also plow snow and mow with it.

I have two. When I was young, my dad bought a 7116 Simplicity, and my grandpa had a JD 314. I learned to mow lawn on these tractors. They're both mine now, and both are tired. Currently the Simplicity has the motor pulled and I'm in the process of a major rebuild, I figured I'd do it right.

Here's a shot of the 7116 working fetching firewood before I got the quad. Good tractor, I need to find a tiller and rear lift kit for it (hint hint). Unfortunately, I don't really have a good pic of the JD. I do have a pic of the shop filled with smoke when I started it, makes for a good mosquito fogger .
