I had a classmate that broke both arms , one twice & both legs ( never 2 breaks at the same time) riding a 3 wheeler. If I remember correctly it was yellow.
Once they were discontinued, if a person called a Honda dealer for service, and said it wasn’t running, the reply you got was “good”.
We still worked on them...just couldn't sell 'em. I grew up on 3 wheelers...they are just like chainsaws, respect them and you are fine, act stupid on one, win stupid prizes...I still have my '86 350X...I used to park that thing at the top of hills that nobody but the guys with big bore 4x4's could climb...I met one of my old riding buddies kids (now grown) a few years back, he used to come on rides with his dad as a lil kid, neither one of us recognized the other, due to all the years gone by, but once his dad introduced us again, his face lit up and he says, "yeeaaahhh, I remember you...you had that 350X and would try to climb almost anything!" Yup, guilty as charged! I haven't ridden much in recent years though, so that dang thing will probably kill me now...never had anything more than a lil road rash from it before...
I learned to ride on a Honda 250sx 3 wheeler. They handle like a shopping cart full of drunken sumo wrestlers. All of them. Lol
A 250SX is not a good one to judge all 3 wheelers by...not that it was a bad one, just not made for "superb handling"
Started out bringing cows in from pasture on a Honda 200s with the balloon tires. Bought an 81 250R and then an 85 250R that I raced for a few years. Wish I still had them.
