    Fine looking preparation Shawn:thumbs:
I used to stack on my porch, now I just fill the trailer and throw a wide piece of tin over it next to the porch - no restacking;)
Of course I don't have to fight snow azz hole deep to an eight foot Indian

The storm we had last year was like the Apocalypse movies - miles of vehicles abandoned on I-20.
I went to work and had to stay for ~36hrs...because nobody else wanted to drive to work. I have no excuse being a former Mainah:headbang:

I did that the other night with my house sandals and smashed my toes on some rounds I had stacked.

Like I've said before, you're a machine Shawn.

Did you measure on a fresh split face? The outside will always read much lower than the inside

    Nice looking stack

Shawn Curry , thanks for clearing up the left side of the door, regardless you have it put to good use. And we all thought your stacks were so neat, the kindling box was amazing. :)

I did that last season and dropped a split on my big toe, the nail hasn't been right since, have to go to a podiatrist next week to get it fixed.

I didn't re-split any of these; they were split fairly small in the first place. Gave em the 'stove test' though and they burned great - took right off, no bubbles or hissing.

My right toe has taken quite a beating. Dropped the same stupid poplar round on it twice! Needless to say, that one won't be a problem anymore!:fire:

Great looking stack there Shawn! Getting the stack 10' from the stove is a plus as well!
