Woke up this morning to a slight rain/freezing rain. Luckily i made it to work before the chaos started. Within minutes everything turned to black ice and there were accidents everywhere. A firetruck took a couple nasty spins on a local highway and smashed into a few other vehicles. I couldn't lay enough salt down on the lots to keep up with the rain. I've never seen it ice over and build up that quickly. Thank God my wife has a good head on her shoulders and took her time getting to work, avoiding other speeding maniacs.
It's raining here we can hear the roof avalanches all around town. Kinda freaky 18" of snow dumping all at once on someone's front porch.
This weather is absolutely LOOPY.....-20° here the other day, supposed to be in the mid 50's this weekend with possible torrential rain.........I just dont get it!!
