This is the 1 and only thing I will not show my wife on this site. She would hunt this dude down and do bad bad things to him. What an arse. As I type this Floyd is passed out on the couch with my wife.
Colorado dogs must be harnessed in the back of a pick up (though I don't think thats enough). Wyoming, sadly, anything goes.
Not saying it doesn't bother me. It does. But the social ( Big Brother ) aspect bothers me more. And as I type this our golden retriever and Alaska Husky are going from my lap in the recliner to being under my wife's feet while she is making dinner.
It's a regional thing I recon. I see cattle dogs quite often on the beds of trucks. Don't know if tieing them on would be safer or not.
I had a dog that would have loved to have done that. Would have laid down and gone to sleep. Most she ever got though was a nose out a partially opened window. Protect the house ? Nope. Protect the car ? A stranger wouldn't get near it for fear a window would break and she'd come flying thru it.. Weird dog. A stranger could walk in the yard, no reaction. Reach over a fence to touch her, you'd lose your arm. Even me.
