Can’t get all of the tree sadly. The homeowner wanted it done today and they got behind. I took two trailer loads and one truckload, but it is an hour each way. I think they are staging one load near the driveway for me, if the homeowner agrees. Still A good score. 14 ft long trailer full, plus the truck. Thankfully I have a diesel.
wow, an hour! That is a haul. I happened upon some sugar maple three minutes from me on Friday evening. Evidently cut down last week. Grabbed two saws and tools to get what i could today. Pulled into driveway of house, knock on door and lady tells me her son is taking it. Trunk was mebbe 30" and bottom was nice and straight. Left my number and honestly would like to see him work on it. Most had to be cut to be moved. Close to road as well. Huge yard tree, but couldve grabbed mebbe half a PU full. Went to my mini HH instead. Oh well cant score em all. More wood awaits!
