I was so looking forward to starting the weekend after fridays work. Had big plans to head out to the cottage, wood fire in the 13, etc etc. Ended up with two gas piping jobs. One was a business where new lines and meters were being dug/hung by public service company and had to be finished. Then a call comes in from an electrician that has to be met with to coordinate efforts on new construction so we don't bury each other. As you can guess, ended up working too late and lost the drive to head out. Stayed home, built a fire in the basement, vegged out with the computer and gold rush.
So now, I'm looking forward to next friday!

I was at work until 6pm Thursday finishing up a job. At 3:30 on Friday I was done. Packed up and left. The place was a ghost town anyways. Unfortunately plans for CSS for this weekend are two or three projects away. With the sage advice received from this site, I am not not burning the wood I CSS this year. Instead I'll be purchasing ENVI8 blocks for this year. Next year I'll start to consider burning some of this years CSS wood along with ENVI8's. If, as I expect, the wood stove works in the living room. then I'll go full bore on accumulating 3-4 years worth of firewood.
