So I noticed a bit of buildup in the burn pot yesterday afternoon, so I cleaned the stove, gave it a bit more air and let her run over night. I actually got better temp readings but am unsure if these Nations Choice will build up again or not. It is also a bit warmer today, closer to the outside temps my other readings were taken. New temp 144.6

Thank you! That thermocouple is in my Amazon shopping cart. As soon as I have enough product to push me over the $35 free shipping threshold, the order will be placed!

All done with the Nations Choice. With the added air there was no buildup. May need to buy some more before my final judgement.

Lol, I actually think the pellets are fine and just needed more air. The FSU behaved in a similar fashion and I love them. But running only two bags correctly is not a good judge of quality.

I going to run out tomorrow to TSC and see if I can find some new stuff to test...maybe even these NC's!

Well, struck out at TSC...they had FF, TSC bagged Indeck pellets, North American and Pro Pellets. The only loose bags that they had open were the NA's. I asked if they could open a pallet of Pro Pellets so I can grab a few bags and they refused. They said the have to follow a certain "flow" with the pellets. Ok so put the sh!tty ones out for the customers to grab....wft. They have, at least, 100+ ton on hand. A lot of the FF didn't have a top plastic cover on and are all exposed to the elements and the TSC bags looked like they've been sitting a long time there. I'm boycotting that store.

OK...so far a -35 degree difference between the thermo (265) and the flue thermo (300)....no big deal because it will be the same for everything. I have to somehow "permanently" mount it so it stays in the same spot.
