Not too many years back, some guys pranked one of their buddies by placing an ad in a newspaper that went something like this. For sale: Fur lined leather mittens. Man sized, XL, excellent for ice fisherman! These are really warm, no more cold hands! Wanted: Give away kittens. A guy from work called him only because he wouldn't listen to us that it's a bad joke.....he said the guy was swearing at him over the phone!!!
I heard of one where this guys "buds" put up an ad for amish hauling service...24/7, call anytime, and then listed a cheap rate...the poor guys phone blew up! Supposedly had to get a new number because the word spread like wildfire and they wouldn't stop calling!
