Just wanted to give a heads-up to any of
our Central Ohio guys on this Craigslist ad.
I don't know how to post a link, but if you
    go on Craigslist-Ohio under Dayton/Springfield
you can find it, it's about 3 days old.
The best part isn't even in the ad. He has a
grove of about 70 HICKORY trees he's wanting
gone! Must be done by April 1st before planting time.
He's looking for somebody to pay maybe $5 per tree
to cut, and of course he will have you sign a waiver.
He says the hickory trees are anywhere from 12" to 24"
DBH. I'm definitely interested myself but don't really
have any experience felling large trees like these. I
could buck them once they're down, but that doesn't
help him any. His name is Brian and you
could text him at 513-364-9103. Good luck with maybe
getting a bunch of hickory firewood!

Well I have given up on the Hickory grove in Trotwood. I've never really felled any trees of size, and at
my age I'm afraid to start now. I did get a really nice truckload of the apple wood but they were small
trees that had been popped out of the ground so cutting them up was really simple. I would have thought
there was someone on here close enough to Trotwood who would be taking advantage of the $5 hickory
    trees by now!
