That Margherita pizza looks good. I need to plant basil this spring just for this purpose. My early outdoor pizza cooker was a modified lid for a Weber that gave good results.

Frankenweber was an early morning youtube discovery while I was researching different ways to combine mass and weber grills. Do you have more pictures of your stove?

We received a bunch of free Aton basil included with other seed packets, and I highly recommend it.

I just took an extra grill cover, drew a door opening with a sharpie and cut out the door with a jig saw with a metal blade. There really is no mass to this, just a good small hot fire is all that it takes to give good results. After every pie is cooked more kindling sized sticks are added. Preferably oak for a hot fire.

Great. I'm going to stockpile this idea in the back of my tiny brain. Would you mind if I possibly might reference the outside of this site in the future?

Sure, I put this up in hopes others may get some ideas for their own pizza oven cookers.

I just came across our seeds whilst tidying up and noticed I still have a couple packets left. From what I have seen basil seeds don't have a great shelf life, you want I should send a packet to you, I can't imagine I'd get it used before they go bad.
