Dang!! That's like mom throwing a plate of scrambled eggs and crispy hash browns in front of you Sunday mornin after chores and just when yur about to throw a fork full in yur trough she ladles some sausage gravy on !!!! Nice gravy score !
No. Not yet. Doug hasn’t been cleared from his broken collar bone. He’s about to go nuts. But Doc said 3 weeks so no doubt he and Trent will get to help. I have gotten about a third of it home and stacked in rounds. So there is about 4 cords out there. Here is what I have gotten home - 1.5 cords. Chief
You are a tad Spoiled , but Easy wood No such thing. Lol Easier than other ,but still a lot of work. How many ton in one load x 6 ..... Handled how many times just to be CSS . That = tons of work Great score!!!
Yes sir Fabz! It was 7 degrees. Perfect day to spend in the woods with my boys. I’m the old white bearded one.
I hear ya chief ! At 50 years-old I can still do a full 8hrs of hard work ! ..... it just takes me 2 days to do it ! Take care sir !
Good for you Chief, As much as I like pics of wood, I liked that pic of you and your boys better. Your smiles say everything! Glad you get to spend time together.
After a couple of days spent felling/limbing/bucking/loading/unloading, that drive-in log pile looks pretty sweet! Those first two steps are SOOO much more work.
I am cutting for the widow lady next door as well. She loves to have a fire and has no means to get wood. And she is such a good neighbor and friend I will keep her in wood as long as I’m able. She came to the fence when we were unloading the other day and said she was really worried she was burning too much wood and becoming a burden. My son Doug told her, you stop worrying about it, you just burn it we will cut it. She got tears in her eyes. It felt like Christmas. Chief
