Let's keep this in mind...The site is free, with no ads and run by the kind folks that Volunteer their time, resources and money!
It amazes me that it can go from fine to crappy and back to fine again within about 5 minutes. Almost like a loose connection.
Less than 5 minutes, sometimes seconds! This morning it went: sorta slow, fast, fast, real slow, sorta slow, fast, all in a minute or two. So weird...
I think we've found the cause: brenndatomu is clicking on things with lightning speed 6 pages in 2 minutes. Speed reader? Just joking!
Understandable but I know several members have offered to donate and I'd put good money that others would join in if the option was there and it actually made the site usable. I can't imagine this is a problem that money won't solve. So what am I missing. All I can figure is someone doesn't care. Please show me the flaw in my thought process.
That's what I wanna do with my phone while navigating this site lately. It's getting to be not worth the frustration.
Well, if Scotty didn't care, he wouldn't have started this forum. He stated some new changes were coming very soon. He works a full time job and side work, just like I do. Sometimes not many hrs left in a day. I know the frustration, believe me, I do... Let's be patient...like most problems, when we get aggravated, just stop and do something else for a bit.
Awesome, let's put together a donation to fix this! Who can do a paypal donation site for an upgrade til we figure out the darn robot problem?
I get the frustration. For me anyway, I'm trying to put a positive spin on things. I throttled back my time on here considerably which has given me some perspective. I was spending an unhealthy amount of time on this forum, in all honestly. Now I mostly stay signed out. I'll check out the forum once in the morning and if it's acting up, I'll leave it alone until the evening. If it works then I'll sign in and browse around, but if not, I'll move on. Try again the next day. I won't let what I can't control get me aggravated. But believe me, I'd prefer the issue(s) to be resolved. Until then, it is what it is.
