3.9 meg picture still won't load. Something's changed. That used to be a simple upload, with no cropping or screenshot needed.
Screenshot of the same picture at 775k. It works. But that used to never be the case.

I posted a number of pics about my new shed gravel pad and had no problems. They were all 1.4MB and that is how they came off the camera.

I think I still have my very first digital camera from 1997, maybe that’ll work. I’ll have to pull the SD card out and transfer to my 1998 laptop.

No need to crop. Easiest fix is a screenshot. I have had to do that at times, even prior to the changes.

Host error now.. then even the well under 1 mp screenshots wouldn't attach. This took me several attempts. The threshold used to be 8 mp.

All kinds of show and glitchy this morning. Obviously limiting picture size wasn't the answer.....

Well, it has been a lot better for a few weeks now, so it was apparently at least part of the solution...

I wonder if we're at our data cap with all the pictures of our hoards and scores over the years?

    I'm sorry guys,
I'm sorry guys and gals, but I'm beyond busy right now. Recent storms, work going on at home, my full time job and tree work have me burning the candle at both ends nonstop.

I'm going to get with morningwood as soon as I get a chance to sit down and do so, I've been working relentlessly and just haven't had time to sit down and have a chat with him about it.

I can tell you the way we used to have uploads was un-maintainable......it was literally hogging up an immense amount of space. People will have to learn how to shrink down the file size of their photos (not crop, but shrink the file size) to get pics up. There's lots of tutorials on the internet on how to do so.

Some of the issue could be related to the relentless heat. I'm working with the host any chance I get. I haven't had any issues at all on my end as of late.

Two pics here, just resized them in photo editor on my antique Samsung S10 (took me 30 seconds to resize them). Resied them to just under 1mb. Sideboards I just built for my trailer out of a huge spruce tree we took down two weeks ago.....

I'd bet it was just a bandaid for the gunshot wound this forum is experiencing. Kinda sounds like nothings gonna change soon.

About that...in case you haven't seen the posts earlier in the thread, there are more than a few of us willing to contribute $ for that...

Side boards look great...Probably get 2 or 3 extra miles per gallon with the aerodynamic rear end
