After posting the above, rather than showing the post, it went way back to page 1. That is twice now.

Tried making posts but they didn't go through.

It doesn't matter; same old day in day out drivel.

July 3, 8:30CST, sure is instant page after page. The weather is awesome, most members must be spending time with family instead of here.
    :faint:

Anyway, thanks to the member contributions here (I'm very grateful) I talked the wood stove store salesman into selling me the BK40 which they say is too much stove for Central Wisconsin, or at least the typical use right here. I think it'll cut reloads to a minimum which is what I want.

Now to learn axe maintenance and start splitting...never had a splitting mall as a kid so used an axe and had much better aim by age six than I seem to now. We'll see how it goes and if I need anything more than an axe (or three).

    Happy Independence Day!

I have seen enough complaints about the slow glitchy forum that someone is funding out of their own pocket so we can come and play in their sandbox.
    So.
    A) Start a new one and show us how it is done
    B) Enjoy what we have here or move on
    3) Ask what you can do to make it better
    4) Provide a solution
....or continue to be part of the problem.
I only pop in and out now but have been here since inception and am grateful for what I have learned, shared and to the person who saved us all from the other place 13 years ago.
Yes I am a cranky old man and the last thing I need is a bunch of other cranky old men complaining.

Help was asked for, and arranged, but not utilized to my knowledge...people have agreed to help with funds, but management has not responded to that, so that's frustrating for people.
This place is a unique forum, we all just want it to continue to thrive.

Some communication about what is or isn't happening would help.
