Forgive me, I have sinned.

I woke up this morning to hear the oil fired boiler running. The T-stat was left on 65 and it was just cold enough outside. I jumped up and ran down stairs and started a fire with several KD 2 x 6s. I've done a ton of work to be prepared and I blow it on the first cool morning.

 

go to the garage and bang your head against the wall ten times...............you will then be forgiven

Sorry see you posted that twice the C.R.S. has kicked in. Man you must be older than dirt. Sorry couldn't resist.

 

I fixed that problem several years ago Jack.
Turned off the gas and power to the wall furnace, then when the roof was being redone, the exhaust pipe never got hooked back up.
Oh, and when I was working on some trim near the thermostat, I pulled the stat and never put it back.
The only thing left to do is pull the furnace out.
At least you're attuned to the sound.
