    had a fire light up a few miles from my house this afternoon they are evacuating trying to get home now send some prayers my way thanks

    Thanks everyone. Been spraying down the house and deck since I got home. The mrs and baby are here but packed and ready to go. It's still burning at this moment about a mile from the house. Lots of ash landing here. We ain't out of the woods yet. The mrs will head to her sisters if it gets worse but im staying until I absolutely have to leave. Don't worry I have a couple escape routesn even if it's on the utv.

    Good News!!

    From experience, make sure the baby bjorn AND the stroller are packed :) Go around and snap as many pics you can of your home, serial numbers and model numbers too, then make sure you bring the camera with you if evacd.

    Also, if fire gets near power poles they will shut it down (no well pump).

    Pay attention to the wind. If it shifts your direction it could be on you pretty quick. Also with the ash falling, watch for spot fires. Any decent roads between you and the head?
