I have an old ford truck. It has always been dependable. The same goes for my saws, both stihl and husqvarna.
If I had to pick one to be a ford, it would have to be the stihl, because it runs like a truck motor. My husqvarna saws run like race cars.

No nothing to do with your comment about echo saws. I own 3 at the moment and relate them to my Ram truck…extremely reliable, lots of torque, and a lot of saw for the money. I didn’t mean to stir a hornets nest with this thread, was just curious. Most of the Ford guys around here run stihl and shoot winchesters. Most of the Chevy guys run husky and shoot Remington or Benelli. Ram guys seem to run a mix of everything. I drive a Ram diesel, have 3 echos, 4 stihls, a couple Holzfformas and a few other Chinese el cheapos. Was just curious if anyone else sees any correlations. Oh and I acquired all of the stihls when I was a Ford guy. Lol

I don't think there is hornets nest. It's all good. I don't fit into any of these scenarios. Lol.

My grandpa was a Chevy man and my dad was Ford. Grandpa’s last 89 diesel Silverado is still under a shed at dads and dad’s 76 f250 custom is long gone. The power windows and radio haven’t worked on the Silverado since the mid 90’s, but it still runs. If I had 80,000 laying around I’d get a Ford or Chevy.

You could always get some Just Eggs buZZsaw BRAD   I just heard of the “egg crisis” a couple days ago. Need to check a couple local sellers to see if this has impacted the price they’re asking as well

I'd say good running reliable saws are Chevys, broken down saws are fords, and homeowner saws are dodges.

I have 2 Fords, like both, have Echo's, Husqvarna and Poulan but no Dodge's permitted here so Echo doesn't fit the Dodge/Echo around this abode. :D:wacky:
