My friend works in the garden dept. at Home Depot ( I used to work with her). She says pansies will be in the stores April 15. But there are a few small places selling them already.

    Nice!
That must be an early bloomer or/and a warm bed.

Repotted one of the Angel Wing Begonia house plants today. This poor thing had been in a little 7" tall x 8" diameter pot. Found this glazed pot, 10" tall & 14" diameter, in a big box I unpacked in the garage today. Knew exactly what to do with the pot when I saw it. When I transplanted, I found the reason I constantly had to water it, it was completely root bound except the top 1.5" where I had added soil last fall.

I have an angel wing too. Very unfussy plant once you get to know how to treat it.

That is a start, from a start, from a plant we brought with us from Kansas back in 1987.

I left the original plant with the ex 5.5 years ago. I brought a start from that plant to my new home, and it is in the kitchen bay window (in a huge pot). The plant I just repotted was a start off the kitchen plant - I think I started it 1-2 years ago.

those look lovely. We were at a hardware store just before closing tonight and I was quite taken by the marigolds and pansys they had displayed. If I have time Sunday when we are back there, I just might succumb to temptation for a flower box.

I just love the miniature daffodils. They are so dainty. Someday I would like to do a planter in miniature daffodils, tulips and those small white grape hyacinths.

Wow - they really like where you have them. They look great! Another couple of weeks and my daffodils may bloom so I am getting my flower fix vicariously thru everyone else's pictures!

Thats gorgeous BB!!, and blooming! I brought a cutting back from WWW's grandmother in California in 1996 or 8. It grew, flourished. I had a beautiful blue glass vase in the kitchen that I constantly had starts rooting in. Yadda yadda it's gone. I bought a new one 2017 and struggle to keep it status quo.

The apple tree in the yard next door is about to burst into bloom and our forsythia is over now.
