4" OAK is pretty hefty. Does that stove have an inlet that big?

That's what your picture looked like. The pellets don't seem to be fully burning up...Maybe just nee the LBT done to it....

"It is mandatory to connect this stove to an outside combustion air source to reduce the risk of hopper burn back caused by negative pressure. A insulated 4” inside diameter metallic pipe, either flexible or rigid, must be attached to the inlet at the stove’s rear (refer to figures 5, 6 & 7)."

It really needs more than that Steve. Wildwest are you at 7,500 feeet? LW pointed this out in the first thread and I want to verify. Your combustion fan might need to to have an increase in its cfm ability.

I removed the right panel. Yes 3" OAK, and no damper/flapper. Ashamed to show how dirty it is on that side (I didn't know it came off :emb:) BRB with more pics.

You may have to go through the area under the burn pot to access that air shutter (using their terms here).

Almost an hour later I pulled the panel to look for the damper/flapper. I shut it off over an hour ago and hubby said it was still on and turned it off again after he got home. While looking for the damper in "off mode" I realized from the INSIDE the auger was still turning.

    Houston, we have a problem.

    I unplugged it.....

The flapper/damper is located inside the fresh air inlet on the stove......you'd have to remove the OAK pipe to see it. You need to make sure it's moving freely, and not stuck closed or partly closed.

Yes, 7500 ft altitude. It was Drolet tech support that brought that to my attention

That is a major issue and needs to be addressed as the oxygen fraction is not like it was at sea level.
