    I gotta recant my previous review of the hookaroon. I find it's a night and day difference using it in mild weather like we've been having vs. cold weather where wood is frozen, which isn't that surprising. It's impressive how well this thing grabs into rounds and it's a definite back saver. I guess I was expecting it to do too much in colder temps, but that is when I do most of my processing.

    I have a fiskars and the 36” wood handled one and I like the fiskars much better. It is 8” shorter but it sticks and releases a lot easier. I love the light weight too.
