I went back to their site. Apparently they have sold out of them. I hope that at least someone here was able to score one before they were gone.
I'm thinking they sold out before I placed my order and didn't take down the listing, that's why I got an email as well as MikeyB got emails saying our orders were cancelled....
Tried calling the number, got a recording. Had a couple of emails go to my spam folder, tried emailing but no dice. Was worth a shot.
I emailed them too, no response. The website had 3 different phone numbers too, seems fishy to me. Well glad one of us got a good deal on the maul.
I have waiting for an email saying my order is cancelled.... but I just got notified it’s out for delivery! Did I get the last one???
Nguyen Tan Sy sounds like a Vietnamese name to me. Which is neither here nor there as Vietnamese people live all over the world just like everyone else. Fiskars axes and hatchets are supposedly still made in Finland, but they've bought so many other companies now and become such an international enterprise that you can't assume that name automatically means made in Finland any more.

hoping u get that refund too. Pretty strange this maul has a sticker on it saying that is “New” but the handle looks pretty dirty so I kinda have to wonder, not that it matters. Also it’s funny that this was shipped via amazon even though I did not order from there. I guess this company uses amazon for their warehouse and distribution. Anyway....... I took a few swings before dark and what a powerhouse!!! The isocore powered through some big knotty oak uglies with ease! It’s a beast!
When did you order yours? I'm curious if it was after MikeyB and I... Strange that we got the same notification our orders were cancelled by "us". MikeyB I'm wondering if they thought something was fishy with our orders. My name is Mike B also.... wondering if that had something to do with it
So I ordered the maul on Feb 12th, recieved and email confirmation for the order. I received an email on February 13th saying I cancelled my order and would be refunded, weird but ok... Checked the bank statement today and it says Nguyen Tan Sy has charged $28 yesterday to my account.... It seems really fishy to me and probably some fence selling stolen mauls from Home Depot or Lowes....
