Thanks for the post. I would be interested in knowing where to look at them and maybe get one. Please post a link, contact information and pictures if you can. Thanks.
Source? Here is the smallest screen in the Contemporary style for the Honey Bear. This is the smallest 2 door stove from the Fireplace Series. Below is the most common; This middle size fits Insert, Grandma, Goldilocks, and Teddy Bear. This was the first with the "Cool Touch" handle. This was the first Grandpa Screen for 1976. This is the last screen produced for Series III starting in 1980. Grandpa shown, Part number 237-585 and Grandma #237-585-1. This screen can not be used with the older flat top doors since the ears go behind the hinges of the Cathedral arched top doors to hold in place. The Contemporary style with chrome frame can be used on either door type since it has locking latches on each side. The Contemporary style for Grandpa has been out of stock for quite some time and demands a premium when found, as well as XL stainless screens. Every manual for Fireplace Series stoves and Insert shows the screen installation, how to lock on stove front, and describes how to set the flue pipe damper when the screen is in use. That is why the flue pipe damper is required on the Fireplace Series III stoves and no damper is required on the single door stoves. No Bear Series manual for a single door stove shows screen installation or describes operation. All manuals here; Fisher Stove Manuals (US) Any screens found for a single door stove (Bear Series) are home made and did not come with the stove.
