Wouldnt think you could swap them if there is that difference wouldnt want it slapping around in there.

The 375k cylinder is 51.4mm. It was put on the 372xpw for a period of time. So the piston will be the same.

I bought it from a husky dealer. Bailey's oils, will give you a price to go off of. Madsens may be cheaper on them as well. There's a few dealers online but they're retail usually.

Have you run any of these?? I think I would run none first before you cut them all down. They may run worse based on your mods. Or it may not be any better than stock...or barely so that its not worth your time to mess with it. I would get some before cut times and then run your first one to see the gains you made.

I use the carbide cutters to grind and then sanding rolls to finish.

You want to square the intake up more and go lower on the corners or up in your pictures.

Thank you fur your input Clem....yes I have run this one...I run it all last summer... 5 days a week...about 3 gallons a day...fur about 6 months. Always started on the third pull...it would fart every once in awhile... Never lack of power. Last spring I bought 3 of of thease 372xp series... 372xp...372x-torq and a 372xpw fur 100. They where landin saws fur a local outfit... I pulled all the jugs and pistons. This 372xp was in the best shape. I took a piston from one saw and the rings and carb from another and bam...came out with this one. I had to JB wield dogs and bolts in because the bolts backed out and beat the threads out. I hated to break this one down. I figured I had to change out the crank case evently because of the dog bolts beat the threads out. I have that half of the crank case now. And i plan on breakin it completely down soon. I just thought before I did...I would play with the jug and try to learn a few trick. I do have my two back ups...my 372xwp...never have tuned, or any mods of any sort...its awesome... I love it and my 2nd back up is my 371xp...ditto on it as well...I have a couple months before my season starts...gives me somethin to do...lol...thank Clem...

No I meant since you ground on one have you run that one before you go cutting on all the other cylinders? If something you did didnt help now all of them may have that same problem with no back up to correct the issue.

Thank you fur your input... Well I have run out of funds...so I couldn't get a cutter..so I didn't up the corners. The intake and exhaust are lumpy bumpy...that's about the best I can do with my supplys and materials...I did try and put a bevel on it where I could reach...I couldn't get bevels on the roofs and don't have the funds to get a right angle fur my rotory tool. I run 4 diffent grits through the bore and finished it up with brillo pad. It still has a few scars and so dose the piston. I hand cleaned the top of the piston and used 3 grits of sand paper to clean up the transfers. I used 400 grit on the rings. Thease rings came off the x-torq piston. I did put the cylinder on and pulled it over a couple times...it has pretty good compression. Can I run this cylinder like it is now. Or do I need to do more to it...if not...I am goin to put it together tomorrow and try it. When I start this...do I need to run this ritcher...because of the mods or is it not enough mods to change mixture. Can I run a x-torq carb on this...and if so...is there any gains too it...

    After...

Is there anything else I can do to it...I am funnin the gasket...couldn't afford the permatect or lock tite... Not that I could find it in a store around hear...there's only 160 ppl in my town...50 miles to a big town and couldn't find it there...lol...any tips, tricks, or comments welcome...thank you friends..

You can put a small bevel on the ports with your fingers and sandpaper. Bevels will help ring life. I use a round ball for bevels in a straight handpiece.

Thank you fur your input Clem...ohhh I see...no I didn't finish or run the first grinder...because I discovered it was the xpw cylinder and I had got rid of its position when I pulled the jugs off these 3 xp series... Do till I get a 51.4 mm...that ones on the self fur now...and I think I am ready to run this one...waitin to see if any one thinks it is...its pretty sloppy work...but I think it will work...maybe no long...lol...there all used parts by at least two seasons...lol...thanks Clem...
