It's supposed to be a fairly good cash crop. Just recently our current administration made growing hemp legal in all 50 states and it apparently is helping to fuel the current CBD /wellness craze. I'm not so sure all 50 states are going along with it though, but it will probably be a lucrative cash crop at least until there is a glut of product. If you can grow it for seed oil and plant fiber then it's a dual crop. Supposedly takes a lot less water than cotton, so there's that.
