    That's about the size and style of the screen I first had on my chimney cap back when I had my smoke dragon stove...it plugged every week or two :picard:it was removed and thrown from the rooftop one day :salute:

    Based on absolutely no information other than just going by looks- It's hard to imagine the second cap would clog as fast as the first- If it were me, I'd give it a shot.

    Just to add The Wood Wolverine you can always take a couple of your chimney cleaning rods and reach from the top of the ladder and tap on the screen if it clogs a bit.
