Yeah, don't wanna lose the rich history in the original thread. And as far north as he lives, we have plenty of burn reports to look forward to.

The before pic of my old setup. Great looking, but not ideal.

Staged up and waiting for the liner to dropped into place. Next up is the double wall and break in fire(s)

Getting closer ! They had to lower the floor of the cavity for the tee cap to fit

O geez. Sorry. Yes, air chisel and a 32” hammer drill bit. Now the tee cap sits on the “floor”. I’ll never undo it

    Congrats!

(crack some windows ajar the first few times you burn it hot, it can get smelly from the paint curing)

Rather smelly. No visible smoke came off. We’ve been having a gentle yet steady fire for about an hour.

Yep, I have unlimited source of 1x4 boards from factory pallets at work. Cut them to length, and split down as needed

Love to see some pix with those secondaries kicked in! Their secondary air and baffle system seems to be pretty robust.

Secondary is starting there, but the holes in the baffles will be lighting big flame when she gets rockin'. If ya got dry wood..
