Bet big money on the Niners beating my Packers tomorrow, and covering the spread. You can't go wrong. If I bet on the Niners, the Pack will win, so maybe I'll do that..
^haha. I’m not the gambling type. Putting $200 of my paychecks and $100 of hers and using our Tax Refund should put the stove in the lower level by my 4/30 Birthday
Dont forget the tax reimbursement ($300) for stoves was renewed again for 2020. When I got mine the dealer didnt say a word about it, and I ended up having to file an amendment to my taxes! 6 or 8 months later I got a check for $300.
It could have been the software I was using; I know that I tried adding it and it wasn't applied for some reason that I can't remember. If it has been renewed, I might try again this year.
Yeah I saw recently it had been renewed for another year. When I did mine it was oddly simple and didnt even ask for a receipt or anything. I think I included a copy plus the stove manual just to be safe, or receipt from installation possibly. It all seemed way too easy for someone to potentially just claim they got a new stove with zero proof, ha.
I don't know that you can ask for a tax credit (stove) for a year that has already passed by. Meaning, if the stove was bought in 2018, you couldn't claim it on your 2019 taxes; it has to be on the 2018 year's taxes...right?
Speaking of taxes,,, ours was just turned in. The T5 will be getting installed a little sooner than April ! I plan to walk in the dealer and pay in full cash. The last time we spoke he said he was 2 days out for an install. Looks we can get some heat out of it this season yet ! Beyond excited to say the least
Good question, and I'm not exactly sure but my guess would be to amend the prior year's tax return if that is the case? Excellent, one other thing before just throwing cash down is feel the dealer out a bit and ask him if paying cash makes any difference for him. Sometimes they will knock a percentage off. That goes for install too.
I did. "Is there anyway I can save money on this deal ?" He said "I'll knock off 3% of total, if its cash". DONE
^ I have 3 cord of dry wood. Another 5 that is "seasoning" right now. Not sure how much we will use...
