    Weather looks good at this point.
    I mentioned to the wife I wanted ribs ; she didn't argue with me on that.
    I'll make a meat run tomorrow after work and load up.

    LOL , leave it to you to post that. As long as you don't post an after picture this morning we're good.

    Just clean bark less oak for wood.
    I have been taking any nice clean and straight splits from larger logs and putting some aside just for this.
    I prefer no bark if at all possible for smoking ,
    Is no bark necessary? Probably not but it seems to work for me.

    Yes you did , and no I haven't tried them yet. Chunks drying in the basement now.

    Going to try cherry when I do some bacon.
    Pork belly curing now , when done it will get smothered in black pepper then smoked.
    I have done bacon in the past but never on this cooker , I don't see any problem though. It is much better than what I used in the past so should be a walk in the park.
    As long as it turns out OK I plan on doing a double batch next time.
