    Although this storm will mainly stay east, we will get a few inches out of it and cold. Zap, there is a western large portion that looks like it will hit you and continue to intensify as it moves NE. Should this storm hug the coast more, there will be hurricane force winds possible. Mike may get his blizzard. At least the 1 day, yesterday of warm weather allowed me to get the yard cleaned up.

    The wife decided she wanted to hit the County Trails so we did just that, just a few pictures. Even though we're colder than usual, you gotta love that SUN!

    I'm not seeing that, we don't have much snow in the forecast but we do have some possible ice coming in on late Thursday night, they don't have any details on the ice amounts yet.

    After plowing the driveway, the natural drain on the low side of the house (it flows to the North side of the house) I took a ride on the sled.

    Wow, you still have quite a bit of snow. We're expecting sleet after midnight, with some heavy winds. Well, enjoy the snow while its lasts, big warmup this week.

    The trails on our property were good but the county trails up through the woods were rough.

    The trails shut down here on April 2, by the end of this week we'll have lost alot of snow. It should be a good melt, 40 during the day and just under 30 at night.

    We plan on taking the sleds out of the trailer tomorrow, let it snow.

    The county trails open on the 15 of Dec. but I doubt we'll have enough snow, we'll see.

    How's the ice Dave? The great news about this cold is the ice can form well.

    A dog fell through the ice just down the block from me, the FD saved him and he is ok. The 40yr old guy that went out onto lake Como outside of Milwaukee wasn't so lucky.

    Ponds and lakes just iced over 3 days ago or so down here and idiots are going out on it already.:loco: :crazy:

    I do not know what the ice conditions are.
    I can ask around.

    Of course, all the agencies are officially reporting the public safety messages.

    "We do not and will not give ice condition reports due to the varying conditions. Ask at your local bait shops"

    We receives 2-3 inches of snow today but it's not the heavy stuff, instead of taking the sleds off I plowed our driveway and the neighbors with the tractors bucket.

    The tractor is plugged in for the night.
