    Is there an ash trap in the bottom of the fireplace? If not you can run an OAK up the flue (if there is room) and terminate out the top.

    About another 10 years Bogieb ! Haa
    Sucks had to work today so I did not get to it and thinking I might be in the mood to do nothing tomorrow and rest to gear up for Mondays chiteshow at work .

    Dang Dex you are on it brother and I do appreciate it , the fireplace is in the center of the house not anywhere near the exterior of the house. I have probably 28' from the stove to top of chimney so it would be quite a run but depending on what piping I would have to use it may be worth it. That is if the benefits are truly worth it that is .
