    Standard Maine technique for keeping varmits out of the wood stacks: pee (a.k.a. urine) .
    You save flushing , prevent weeds around the wood, and, and, those Alvins and Reds and Mickeys hate the smell.
    This is only effective where you have no visible neighbors ( "neighbours" in Canadian ).

    Inconvenient truth: I am a H² bigot.
    1. They're a PITA to make.
    2. The interior wood gets moldy....never dries.:singingintherain:
    3. Getting the splits for real fires is a PITA².
    4. Germans don't use Holtz Hauzens anyhow.
    5. It really means "don't build me" in German.:germany:
