    Hi all,
56 degrees and sunny with a little breeze. So into the woods I go.
A while ago I posted a picture called " the twins ". Here they are if you forgot, two lovely red oaks.
Here they are today.........maybe one more load of 50/50 splits and small rounds from the tops.
That will be 8 loads in a six foot bed approx 2 cords +/- for winter 1920 - 21 to start with. Need one more cord.

Looks like a beautiful day! We had one here, too. Made use of it also, but not as neatly as you. Nice work!

Mind the deck with that full truck, eh? ;)

Is that deer fence you use for a headache rack? I like it! Going to add one on my new to me Ford.. too many close calls chucking wood towards the back window of my old Chevy.

Nice home brewed headache rack, any newbies reading this take note that full 3 sided wood racks or a back window headache rack is pretty much mandatory if your gona be hauling even moderate amounts of wood. And ya i like orange saws also, and looks like you had a great day cutting oak! Be greatful for oak, there are places where there is no oak.

We had a nice day too, wind was blowing, blue and cloudy sky, hovering around 55-60ish off and on but the best part is things were drying up enough to get some gardening in!

Great day as a whole, got some stuff done and made the most of it the past couple days actually! Im glad you got some great wood work in EnglishBob!

Turned out to be another 2 1/2 truckloads later. Took the canopy down to the last inch and had a couple of ironwoods that were cut to make the road in.
    All is safely gathered in.
