Shoulder season seems to be less of an issue with the Myriad with the Bypass Damper built into it. I can keep the bypass open for longer and get the draw of the flue going good then close it. I didnt have that option with my other stove. During weather in the low 40's alot of times the flue doesnt draw as well. Alot of people post this time of year concerned with the draw of their flue isnt so good. Its usually related to the warmer temps but cold enough for a need to take the chill off the house.
Yep, down here in IN, shoulder seasons are long. The better your stove runs in these conditions.....the better.
I have said it before and I will say it again my Drolet so far is very easy to run and reminds me of my old Nashua for ease of use, this winter will be interesting.
