    60-80 years?!!!! I want one!

    As for the wood, it looks pretty good to me but you will know for sure once you get some of that out and also cut some of it. I see someone ran a saw part way through one log. Makes me wonder why they stopped.

    If you think it’s not worth burning inside. Maybe your summer rental guests could burn a little outdoor fire if they’re so inclined? It’ll be gone with less work ;)

    If it looks like it will burn and put out BTU's then it is firewood.

    I would take a chance. You should see the misfit firewood in my stacks. No beauty contest here... :rolleyes:

    buZZsaw BRAD may have to stop over to assist with cutting up that wood and help you out with that cracked slate laying on the porch roof that looks like it came from the main roof ridge cap.

    If nothing else it could be fire pit or campfire wood. Looks like some would be ok for firewood but you won’t know until it’s cut. If it’s not the best maybe use it for shoulder season once it’s dry?
