Catching the early ferry to Granny's with a load of firewood. At Granny's. Still have a little more stacking space. The secondary transporter. (wood-barrow) Still a little space for stacking.
I have a bunch of corrugated panels like those to try to keep on the stacks. They sail fairly well with strong wind we get here unless I keep a bunch of heavy skids on top of them. Looks like you make that trip often.
Granny enjoys the visits as much as she appreciates the firewood. Right now the firewood is easy to get and close to our home - only 10 minutes away so getting a little ahead. This wood will be under permanent cover in the woodshed in another month or so. Hopefully the plastic does not blow away.
Now you did it got me thinking about cookies, well I got some banana bread, I will have a couple slices of that right now
Great job! Im impressed that she still burns with wood. Im also impressed that you bring her firewood each year. I wish I had a granny to take firewood to, that would feel very fulfilling!
Nice to meet you, I grew up in Boulder and had friends in Lyons, cool places. LOL we did the early bird dinners once a year at the Red Lion Inn. Are you by chance related to the man that had the autoshop near Valmont years ago?
