For those that split your own wood think about getting a special symbol welded to the foot of the splitter - mine makes two rectangular dimples and sometimes leaves a touch of blue paint. Of course this only lets you know after the fact who has your wood - and we're talking economic collapse here so chances are thieves will be dealt with on the streets - not in court rooms. And if you are buying already split wood, the worthless dollar in this scenario probably isn't going to buy much wood.
Wha wha whaaaaat?!?! You'd think someone would have told me about this. BTW, where does S.Overkill live again? Heheh.
I dont leave a camera out at the cottage but did laminate a sign on the laneway stating there is a game camera in use
I crawled under the beam and put some special welding under there so if it's stolen I can prove it's mine. I also have a few other hidden signs on it but those are secrete lol...
I have my carport on order now. O would do this. Get an 18x21 and put chain link gates on either end or get the sides to the ground and back enclosed and then front gates. That is if your worried.
Good idea Clem! I always wanted one of the large TSC chain link covered dog kennels for the dry wood supply but it hasn't happened yet....
I have new central boiler installed, but not yet fired for the first time. Only burn it now Oct thru early Apr. But the Mahoning I had prior, I learned very quickly that cutting four foot lengths as big as you could meant two things: If you cut them so big only you can pick them up, then only you will ever pick them up And I also cut with friends with indoor stoves, so cutting everything 20-22 seems to be easiest, and the owb does crank up faster when there is a call for heat. We also have an indoor fireplace we burn on weekends and with company, so I can have one big supply to keep everyone happy.
