    Been a while since I fired up the old "Hogleg"...I also got an MS880, but for the big sugar maple log I just milled into live edge, I used my MS461 with the 36" mill and ot did pretty good! Granted it was only 24" diameter, it appears Mike's logs may be a tad bigger...lol

    It's pretty nice, has a little curl, but amazing tight grained.

    Wife said "what are you gonna do with that stuff?"

    I said, "I have no idea"....lol

    Oh , I can relate.
    I have a basement full that I cut and I hear the same thing from my wife , What are you going to do with it.

    Plenty of projects I started and more to come but time is my issue , or shall I say lack of?
    It will get used but not as soon as she would like.
    " Have some patience dear , I'm working on it "
